Booking Leah to come to your home or other indoor venue is easy and everyone has a great time! Your child's playgroup, Sunday school class or neighborhood friends group will have a wonderful time enjoying a 45 minute session of Leah's Music Class together!
$150 makes Leah available to as many children and adults as you care to invite to your special music and movement session.
Leah will come to your special one-time-only class session equipped with music, scarves, puppets, instruments, and lots of fun and enthusiasm. The main requirement to make the class successful on the part of the host is a large, open area for everyone to be able to sit in a large "knee to knee" circle and stand to dance and move about freely. An electrical outlet is also necessary.
Your playgroup will enjoy hello songs, finger and toe plays, bouncy songs, small and large motor movement selections, clean up songs, dancing and rhythm instruments before sharing a calming lullaby and ending with fun friendship songs.
Leah can also provide a magical musical story time at the end of her special playgroup sessions. You and your kids will love it! Leah normally tailors the "playgroup class" to the ages of the children attending. Some groups have children near the same age and others have a variety of ages, ranging from newborn through five years old. The beauty of Leah's Music Class is that it can be tailored to the age group of the playgroup. For example, if the majority of the children attending are older, Leah offers more large motor movement. If it is a broad mix of ages, from tiny ones up through five or six, she can also mix in several fingerplays and toe wiggles for the baby set, in order to keep everyone interested. The point is that Leah can work it around what will be most appealing to the audience. So when playgroup planners tell Leah the ages of the kids who will be coming, she works the content around that.
Leah's special playgroup classes are for children from newborn through five years of age and their caregivers. It is not a drop-and-go class. Children and parents have a terrific experience when they participate together.
